Come to Japan!

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Mathew 9:37-38

Come serve with us in Miyako!

We’re looking for people who are interested in coming to Miyako to help us with English ministry and church planting on a short-term, mid-term, or long-term basis.

Since 2018 we’ve been partnering with Morioka Bible Baptist Church to plant a new church in Miyako. In the first four years since we moved to Miyako God has done an amazing work in laying the foundation for this new church plant. He has opened the door for us to host weekly worship services, gathered a small core group of Japanese Christians, provided an ideal location to host worship services and events, and connected us with dozens of families in our city.

While we are praising God for His faithfulness up till now, we also recognize that there is still much that needs to be done. We feel the need for additional ministry workers to help carry this work of church planting in Miyako to completion. Now that the groundwork for the church plant has been laid, the next few years will be an important phase as we seek to proclaim the gospel and disciple new believers. We’re looking for both short-term and long-term workers to serve with us in Miyako.

Perhaps God is calling you to consider serving in Miyako, either as a short or midterm volunteer, or as a long-term missionary. We are currently seeking people who are interested in fulfilling the following three roles.

Short-term/Mid-Term Volunteer
Missionary Intern
Missionary Partner
